SCO Response Medical Supports York Land Yacht Club Event

SCO Response Medical was proud to provide medical and safety support for a recent land yacht sailing event hosted by York Land Yacht Club at Elvington Airfield.

Land sailing is one of the UK’s most unique and exciting wind-powered sports, combining engineering, skill and speed in a highly dynamic outdoor environment. Using lightweight three-wheeled yachts powered entirely by wind, competitors are capable of reaching impressive speeds while navigating challenging conditions with precision and control.

The event brought together experienced pilots and sailing enthusiasts from across the region, with strong conditions providing an excellent day of competitive sailing and technical performance.

Supporting Safe Event Operations

SCO Response Medical provided on-site medical cover and operational safety support throughout the event, helping ensure competitors, organisers and spectators could enjoy the day safely.
